A delicious family story

Behind each spoonful of Marie Morin desserts is this family’s love of tradition, regional products and home cooking. Their heritage and expertise has been passed on from mother to son, to the great delight of lovers of good food.

My story is simple, just like my desserts. During the 1990s, through our love of cooking and high-quality products, my husband Alain and I decided to set off on a wonderful journey: creating our own range of desserts. We very quickly fell in love with this idea and felt an irrepressible desire to begin producing milk-based sweet desserts. We didn’t think twice about redesigning our cellar as a kitchen workshop.

With passion, determination, a little spoon and the help of Bruno, our eldest son, we attracted distributors and the Marie Morin brand hit the ground running! Our traditional chocolate mousse – the brand’s original stand-out product – was a hit and we had more and more orders.

Our sons Eric and David were won over to the world of dessert-making and decided to join us. Unfortunately, our workshop was destroyed in a fire. In spite of our doubts and questions, we took no time re-starting our business, thanks to the loyalty of our customers and our children’s support, so we built a new workshop in Quessoy, not far from the Bay of Saint-Brieuc.

David, our youngest child, felt he wanted to spread his wings, so he decided to take our brand to the other side of the Atlantic and has been delighting the caribou ever since. In France, Eric and Bruno took over the company reins and have continued delighting us with their wonderful desserts.

Just like homemade

Today, Bruno and Eric are continuing our great family story.

Very early on, Bruno only wanted one thing: to join his parents in their wonderful adventure. He started by taking care of customer deliveries, then became involved in creating our desserts. However, he quickly found the job he liked more than any other: prospecting customers in order to extend the range of shops stocking Marie Morin desserts.

Thanks to his training as a pastry chef, our son Eric designs and develops our delicious new recipes, supported by his brother Bruno and a lively young team. These modern recipes retain the traditional spirit of their mother’s generous desserts and continue to delight lovers of good food.

These dessert pots have been developed by the family, in a desire to delight others !
