Marie Morin is committed to the corporate responsibility of those companies working with us and this revolves around several levers: product quality, local supply, eco-friendliness and sustainable development, not forgetting the safeguarding of jobs.
Today, we are putting our heart and soul into offering healthy, delicious products which are ever more respectful of the planet, people and animals.
So, for several years, we have been involved in working towards sustainable development. This commitment can be seen in the quality of our products and also in the way we search for local suppliers. We use fresh, natural products – milk, cream, eggs, flour etc. – which come mostly from our local area so we can also contribute towards our local economy.
We have chosen to use glass pots owing to their inertness and endless recyclability. Finally, the safeguarding of jobs and the welfare of our employees are also points which we hold particularly dear.
High-quality recipes
We use high-quality recipes which have proven their worth time after time. Marie Morin desserts are completely natural and without artifice. Made using fresh products as natural as possible, they are made:
You can therefore be sure you are enjoying fine, authentic products.
Fresh, organic milk
All our desserts, whether they are organic or traditional products, are made using fresh, organic milk. Our milk is not homogenised, but simply pasteurised, so it retains its creamy flavour! And that’s important for its taste!
Bleu-Blanc-Coeur farm-fresh crème fraîche
Our creams, liégeois desserts and molten cakes are made using Bleu-Blanc-Coeur crème fraîche, which is naturally richer in Omega 3 and is guaranteed to come from animal- and eco-friendly agriculture.
Eggs from outdoor-reared hens
We only use eggs from outdoor-reared hens. So all our desserts are made using eggs from outdoor-reared hens
Local suppliers
Marie Morin is attached to its region. Since day one, the company is committed to get its supply as much as possible from local suppliers.
Indeed, Marie Morin uses fresh and natural products such as milk, cream, eggs and flour, mostly from our area.
In 2011, the company became an active member of Produit en bretagne.
By purchasing our products, you participate to the growth of our local economy, as much as the development of the employment of our territory.
Marie Morin has chosen to use glass pots for its desserts. This has become a real icon for the brand. By using this glass packaging, our desserts retain all their original qualities. Indeed, the glass protects the contents from the outside environment and doesn’t alter its flavour, smell or composition. Glass is a guarantee of high-quality. Being transparent, there’s nowhere to hide: through the glass, you can see the quality of our desserts and the product’s level of freshness for yourself before enjoying it. Glass is also an eco-friendly material as it is infinitely 100% recyclable, without losing any of its quality. Explore how it’s made in the factory in Lagnieu in the department of Ain.
Marie Morin is committed to a sustainable cocoa supply programme aiming to improve the taste of the chocolate it imports by adding value to each cog along the supply chain – from the producer to the consumer. This programme guarantees cocoa traceability from bean to chocolate. It also provides a certain amount of control over the supply chain, from the planter to the consumer, supporting farmers every step of the production process so they may diversify their income, boost their yield and improve bean quality. Farmers are therefore guaranteed better income, to which a bonus is added allowing them to improve their living conditions.
