Ingredients

3 jars of Marie Morin moist chocolate cake

For the red fruit coulis

300 g of “Mara des bois” strawberries

1 tablespoon of caster sugar

1/2 of lemon juice

Pour the cream

80 g of caster sugar

2 egg yolks

15 g of icing sugar

240 g of fromage frais

30 cl of single cream

Step 1

Open the moist chocolate cake's jars, microwave them for 15 seconds so they come out of their pots more easily and empty them. Divide them into 6 verrines or small dishes.

Step 2

For the cream : toss the egg yolks with the caster sugar until the mixture turns white. Add the fromage frais and the icing sugar. Whisk together. Whip the cold cream until stiff and incorporate it gently into the previous mixture. Fill a piping bag with this mixture and add some to each verrine. Leave to cool for 2 hours.

Step 3

For the red fruit coulis : wash and remove the stems from the strawberries. Mix the fruit in a blender. Pour the lemon juice, the sugar and mix. Pour the coulis into the verrines. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.

TOP TIP

For the coulis, use whichever fruit is in season.
