My background is as simple as my desserts. In the 1980s, my husband Alain and I – motivated by our love for cooking and high-quality products – decided to begin a fabulous adventure: creating our own desserts. This stroke of genius was enough for us to turn our cellar into a culinary workshop.
With a lot of passion, some determination, some cooking utensils and the help from our eldest son Bruno, we managed to seduce distributors and the Marie Morin brand got off to a flying start. Our traditional chocolate mousse – the brand’s initial flagship product – was a great success and orders soon started to flood in.
Our sons Eric and David took a liking to baking and soon joined us. David exported our company’s colours abroad and has been delighting our Canadian friends with our treats. In France, Eric and Bruno took over the head office in Quessoy, not far from the bay of Saint-Brieuc.
Our passionate family is the cornerstone of this resolutely Breton brand. Alain and Marie Morin began their careers as wholesalers in high-quality farm products, sold to local dairies and grocers. Ideas soon started blooming and shortly after came the irrepressible desire to start a business in the production of sweet and dairy treats to be enjoyed for dessert or as a snack.
A family line
The Morin sons, Eric and Bruno, have now taken up the torch and created new and delicious recipes as part of a young and dynamic team. These modern recipes have preserved the spirit of their mother’s traditional and generous creations, and are always a delight for dessert-lovers.
As you may have understood, Marie Morin is first and foremost a human adventure. Each person here made their own contribution through their know-how, personality and beliefs. Every day, they strive to create delicious desserts that are simple yet generous. Read through their portraits.
Quality
Before thinking about preparing all these simple and generous desserts, Alain and Marie Morin had already decided to sell good products. Mostly organic produce, whose origin and procurement methods are known. Today, the Morin sons fervently create their desserts with the same noble raw materials.
Respect for the products used
Marie Morin desserts are all-natural. Prepared with fresh products that are the most natural possible, they do not contain any colouring agents or preservatives. You can savour them in good faith.
Innovation
With a desire to make consumers happy, Marie Morin is constantly looking for new ideas for tasty desserts. Indulge in these home-made and original recipes, that taste as if they had been made by mum at home.
Authenticity
Marie Morin’s signature is for desserts to be served in individual glass jars – made in France – some of which are engraved with the brand’s name. Rest assured that you will always be eating refined and authentic products.
